Before you approach a girl in a bookstore, ALWAYS scope out the situation to make sure there is no boyfriend or partner somewhere else in the store.
This used to happen to me a lot when I was living in the DC area… I’d be checking out a girl in a bookstore, she’d look back at me several times, we’d do what I thought was the check-out shuffle, and then, 10 minutes later, the boyfriend would show up for a public groping session.
This is one of the things I couldn’t stand about DC women — their constant, blatant seeking for validation of their attractiveness, even when in a relationship.
Wait a minute, I just watched that video, for real… Roissy has a CAT??!?
Rather beta, no?
Ninja cat’s technique can also be applied when approaching US Customs Officials, job interviews and meeting your in-laws for the first time.
Cats fucking rock. Having a car does not make one a beta. It simply means they probably don’t want to live their life by the walk (aka, owning a dog).
I would think that only attention-starved betas have dogs, really. Is a pet choice really related to alpha-betaness, though?
That is a viral video of major cat cuteness and ninja ability. It’s not Roissy’s cat.
And cats are super awesome.
HAHAHAHAH, zzzzzzzzzz…
I would say the most alpha pets are the most dangerous ones like:
Sydney Funnel Web Spider
Death Stalker Scorpion
Various Poisonous Frogs
The Australian Taipan
Barracudas
The Blue Ringed Octopus
Portuguese Man-Of-War
Maybe even a baby saltwater crocodile. Cats are cool too, but they have to be cougars and tigers.

An outstanding example of how ambush predators stealthily approach their prey. 5000 years of domestication, and domestic cats have still got the Mojo. I love ‘em!
excellent title for this video!

No Alpha. A man owning a cat says to the world that he is secure in his masculinity and his home is mouse and rat free.

I agree
That was awesome. I don’t know if it was a viral video or not but loved it.
But applying it to the title; handling rejection means running away scared?
Sounds about right.
I don’t care who you are, that is awesome!Cats are the best hunters in the world. You see how the cat froze and then when you weren’t looking moved forward…not only was that cute as hell, that was some serious hunting skills. That kitty’s getting dinner tonight! Find a dog that can hunt like that.
Great post!

funny
Dogs are great – but cats have their moments. That clip shows exactly why cats can be cool.
They can be exploited entirely for comedy purposes when you fire up the hunter in them.
CAT + anything activity using their hunter instinct + camcorder = easy funny clip

I think that it is a very interesting and amusing article. Practically all its main points are true.
